This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information by HelperSuits ("we", "us", "our", or "the Platform"), operated at www.helpersuits.com. By accessing or using HelperSuits, you ("User") agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
This Policy complies with applicable data protection laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (India), and takes reasonable account of the principles of the GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) where applicable to international users.
Beta Platform Notice: HelperSuits is currently in beta. Data collection practices and the features described in this Policy may change as the platform evolves. We will update this Policy and the "Last updated" date when material changes occur.
We collect the categories of data described below. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
When you sign up or sign in, Clerk (our authentication provider) collects your name, email address, profile picture (if provided via OAuth/Google), and account creation timestamp. This data is stored and managed by Clerk, Inc. under their own privacy policy. We receive your Clerk User ID and email address to create your profile record in our own database.

generation_logs table)Every time you generate AI output using any HelperSuits tool, we record a log entry containing:
We do not log the content of your Prompts or the AI-generated output in this table. Generation logs are retained indefinitely and are used for abuse monitoring, usage enforcement, and aggregate platform analytics.
saved_outputs table, Pro users only)Pro plan users have their AI-generated content saved to our Supabase database to power the Pro Dashboard history feature. This data is associated with your Clerk User ID. We retain saved outputs while your Pro subscription is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
pipeline_jobs table)If you use the ATS Pipeline feature, candidate records you create — including candidate names, job titles, pipeline stage, and any notes you enter — are stored in our Supabase database linked to your Clerk User ID. This data is yours; we do not use it for any purpose other than displaying it to you within the platform. During our public beta the ATS Pipeline is available free of charge to every signed-in user; after the beta it is expected to become a Pro-only feature.
Important — read carefully. The ATS Score Checker tool accepts a resume file (PDF or DOCX) from your device. The file is processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. The original file is never uploaded to HelperSuits servers. Only the extracted plain text is transmitted to Groq's API (our LLM provider) as part of the analysis prompt. The same disclaimers that apply to all Prompts (Section 2) apply to this extracted text.
Do not upload resumes containing Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, passport details, bank account numbers, health information, or other highly sensitive personal data unless you are comfortable sharing that text with a third-party AI service outside your or our control.

Feedback is used only to improve the platform. We rate-limit feedback submissions to 5 per IP per day to prevent abuse. We will not contact you at your Clerk email unless you have asked a specific question that requires a response or we need to follow up on a bug report you filed.
Every request routed through our Cloudflare Worker (all AI generation requests, form submissions, and API calls) automatically captures your IP address and country code. This data is used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and geographic analytics, and is stored alongside the relevant Supabase log record. We do not use IP data for advertising or tracking purposes beyond what is described in this Policy.
Free and Starter plan users have their generation count tracked in Cloudflare KV (a key-value store) using a key tied to their Clerk User ID. For Free plan users this counter has no expiry date — it is permanent and tracks 30 lifetime free generations. For Starter plan users the counter resets monthly. The KV record contains only the count value and your internal user identifier — no email, name, or other personal data.
We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate, anonymised usage analytics — pages visited, referral sources, session duration, device type, and country. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. Individual user data is not accessible to us — we see only aggregated statistics. You may opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We store your dark/light mode preference (hs-dark) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

HelperSuits provides AI-powered tools by routing your inputs ("Prompts") to third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers. We currently use Groq, Inc. as our primary LLM provider.
HelperSuits relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy and data processing terms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their respective policies.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet or stored in third-party systems. By using HelperSuits, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk. HelperSuits will not be liable for any data breach that originates at a third-party provider (Clerk, Groq, Supabase, Cloudflare, Razorpay, or LemonSqueezy).

You use all AI-generated content at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and taking full responsibility for any content before using it professionally, publicly, or in any decision-making context.

HelperSuits is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at contact@helpersuits.com and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
HelperSuits is operated from Pune, Maharashtra, India. Our third-party service providers (Clerk, Groq, Supabase, Cloudflare, LemonSqueezy) may process your data in the United States or other countries outside India. By using HelperSuits, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. We rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses and compliance frameworks to safeguard such transfers. Razorpay processes Indian users' payment data within India under RBI guidelines.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, new features, or third-party services. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of HelperSuits after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
